We stand behind the quality of every emilia piece. That's why we offer a 2-year warranty from the date of delivery. If you experience a quality issue, our Customer Care team will help make it right.

What's covered (2 years)

This warranty covers manufacturing defects and quality issues under normal, intended use, including:

  • Broken or faulty clasps, closures, chains, or earring posts due to workmanship
  • Stones that loosen or fall out due to setting defects
  • Plating/finish issues that are not caused by misuse or improper care
  • Premature tarnishing or abnormal discoloration when used as intended (everyday wear, including normal water contact like splashes/handwashing)

Water resistance + tarnish-free (how we define "intended use")

Emilia jewelry is made for everyday wear—including around water. It's water-resistant, so you don't need to stress about splashes or handwashing.

To keep pieces looking brand-new and shining brightest, we recommend:

  • Avoiding prolonged water exposure (long showers, pools, hot tubs)
  • Gently drying your jewelry after contact with water
  • Storing pieces in your Emilia pouch or gift box in a cool, dry place when not worn

Following these care steps helps protect the finish and extend the life of your jewelry.

What's not covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear over time (minor scratches, small scuffs, gradual surface changes)
  • Damage from accidents, impact, bending, crushing, pulling, or improper storage
  • Damage from harsh chemicals (chlorine, cleaning agents, perfumes, lotions, hair dye, sanitizers used excessively, etc.)
  • Issues caused by prolonged water exposure (e.g., long showers, swimming/pools, hot tubs) or not drying after heavy water contact
  • Lost or stolen items
  • Alterations or repairs performed by anyone other than Emilia

How to file a claim

Email customercare@emilialohrjewelry.com with:

  • Your order number
  • A short description of the issue
  • Clear photos (and a short video if helpful)

We'll reply with next steps.

Our solution

If your claim is approved, we'll offer one of the following (at our discretion):

  • Repair
  • Replacement (same item, or a comparable style if unavailable)
  • Store credit if repair/replacement isn't possible

Shipping

If a return is needed, we'll provide instructions. Outbound shipping for the repaired/replacement item is covered by Emilia.
